What if I don’t have one of your systems installed?
No problem. We’ve successfully upgraded many third-party systems. We’ll survey your vehicle to assess compatibility and identify the best way to integrate new cameras into your current setup.
What types of cameras can I add?
We offer a range of upgrades, including load cameras, driver-facing cameras, Susie cable view cameras, and additional side or rear cameras for improved visibility and safety.
Do I need a new monitor if I add cameras?
Not always. Many systems support multiple camera inputs. If your current monitor can handle the additional feeds, we’ll use it. If not, we’ll recommend an appropriate upgrade to support your expanded system.
How long does a typical upgrade take?
Adding an additional camera typically takes 1–3 hours, depending on vehicle type, camera location, and existing wiring.
Will adding new cameras disrupt my current setup?
Not if it’s one of our systems. We design everything to work seamlessly. For third-party systems, we’ll assess it first and only go ahead if we can guarantee reliable performance.
Can I upgrade my system in stages?
Yes. Many customers start with essentials like side and front cameras, then add rear, load, or driver-facing cameras later as their needs grow. Our modular approach makes this easy.
How much does it cost to upgrade?
Upgrades are typically priced per camera. You’ll pay for the cost of the camera plus installation. As a guide, most upgrades come in at around £125 per camera plus fitting. We’ll provide a clear quote before any work begins.
